Mitochondria
Purpose: Mitochondria are the powerhouses of the cell. They are resonsible for the production of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), which is the primary energy source for the cell.
Location: Animal and Plant Cells
Importance: Without Mitochondria, the cell would not be able to convert glucose into ATP, therfore losing its energy source.
