Nucleolus
Purpose: The Nucleolus is responsible for the production of Ribosomes, which play a critical role in protein sythesis.
Location: Animal and Plant Cells
Importance: Without protein synthesis, the cell would not be able to break down the different kinds of protein, therefore losing essential nutrients and, in the long-run, no longer being able to function.
