Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum

Purpose: To make proteins that the cell can use and then transports them to the Golgi Apparatus.

 

Location: Plant and Animal Cells

 

Importance: Without the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, the cell would have no way of creating protein, causing it to eventually die from the lack of energy.
